SUMMARY

Msinfo32 version 6.0, which is included with Windows Millennium Edition (Me), does not support the following command-line option:

/categories (+|-)(all | categoryname)(+|-)(all | categoryname)...

This command-line option is supported by Msinfo32 version 5.0, which is included with Microsoft Windows 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

This command-line option was introduced with Msinfo32 version 5.0. It was not available with Msinfo32 version 4.0, which is included with Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition.

The following sample command demonstrates how to list the high-level "SystemSummary" category in a file named C:\Syssum.nfo:

msinfo32 /nfo syssum.nfo /categories+SystemSummary
