SCSI Scanner Does Not Work Until You Restart Your Computer (261534)

After you install a small computer system interface (SCSI) scanner, when you try to scan, you may be unable to do so, and you may receive the following error message:
Unable to communicate with the Imaging device. Please make sure it is connected and turned on.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you do not restart your computer after you install the scanner.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, restart your computer after you install the scanner.
