Screen Saver Wait Time Reset to 14 Minutes After Upgrade (261394)

After you upgrade to Windows Millennium Edition (Me), your screen saver wait time setting is reset to 14 minutes, no matter what wait time you had previously specified.
CAUSE
Windows Me Setup does not migrate your screen saver wait time setting from the previous Windows registry.
WORKAROUND
After Setup is finished, set the screen saver wait time back to the value you want.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
