SUMMARY

The Find command on the Start menu in Windows Millennium Edition (Me) has been renamed to Search. The Search menu contains all the previous Find commands except Computer.

To search for a computer from the Start menu:
  1. Click Start, point to Search, and then click For Files or Folders.
  2. In the Search Results dialog box, click Computers under Search for other items.
  3. In the Computer Name box, type the name of the computer you want to search for, and then click Search Now.
This change to the Windows Me Start menu was made based on usability studies and to correspond with the Microsoft Windows 2000 Start menu.
