PRB: Active Server Pages Error Messages ASP 0203 and ASP 0204 (261247)

SYMPTOMS

When you execute an ASP page that sets a CodePage value with Session.CodePage or an @CODEPAGE directive, the following error messages may occur:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0203'
Invalid Code Page
/ASPpage.asp, line 1
The specified code page attribute is invalid.

-or-

SessionID error 'ASP 0204 : 80004005'
Invalid CodePage Value
/ASPpage.asp, line 5
An invalid CodePage value was specified.

CAUSE

The language support software for the Code Page that is being set has not been installed on Internet Information Server (IIS ).

RESOLUTION

You can resolve this problem by installing the language support software for the Code Page on the server. The appropriate language support software can be downloaded from the following Microsoft Web site at:
