SUMMARY

The Message Journaling function is a new feature introduced in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. You can enable this function on a per-mailbox store object basis.

Follow these steps to enable Message Journaling:
  1. In Exchange System Manager, click Servers.
  2. Click Storage Group, right-click one of the mailbox stores listed, and then click Properties.
  3. On the General tab, click to select the Archive all messages sent or received by mailboxes on this store check box, and then click Browse to choose an account for the archived messages.
You need to do this individually for each store object.
