WMI Does Not Return SCSI Connector Type Information (261167)

Instances of Win32_PortConnector for external SCSI connectors return "0" (unknown) for the ConnectorType property. The PortType property for these instances contains either the value 17h (SCSI II) or 18h (SCSI Wide). This issue affects computers that support SMBIOS 2.1 or later with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) installed.

If the computer does not support SMBIOS 2.1 or later, the WMI Win32 provider cannot obtain the Win32_PortConnector properties.
SMBIOS upgrades may be available from the computer manufacturer.
