WD2000: Access Violation When You Use CommandBarButtonEvents Click Event Handler (261158)

When you use the CommandBarButtonEvents object's Click event handler to run a Document.Close on a document that is the last document opened, or when you move between open instances of Word, an exception access violation can occur. This can be frequently be seen in a COM add-in, because COM add-ins use the CommandBarButtonEvents event handlers to route events to an add-in function.
The closing of the last document can cause an exception access violation in Word within the MSO9.DLL module. The following error message typically is displayed when this condition occurs:
"The instruction at <0xXXXXXXXX> referenced memory at <0xXXXXXXXX>. The memory could not be read."
