StarLancer: Computer Stops Responding When You Click a Command on the Startup Screen (260860)

When you click one of the following commands on the Microsoft StarLancer
startup screen
- Single Player
- Multiple Player
- Game Options
your computer may stop responding (hang).
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if a video adapter based on the nVIDIA RIVA 128
chipset is installed in your computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, contact your hardware manufacturer to inquire
about how to obtain and install the latest version of the video driver
for your video adapter.
