"Download Only" Option for Internet Explorer Setup Displays the Incorrect Download Size (260675)

SYMPTOMS

When you select Download Only in Microsoft Internet Explorer Setup, the download size is displayed. However, when you click Next, and then select the operating system for download, the displayed download size changes.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

When you first select the Download Only option, the download size displayed is the amount necessary to download the files for the operating system that you are currently using. If you select a different operating system or add more than one operating system for the download, the download size changes according to the operating system changes.
