XCCC: NetMeeting Does Not Run on Computer Running Exchange 2000 Server (260559)

When you try to start Microsoft NetMeeting on a computer that is running Exchange 2000 Server, you may receive the following error message:
NetMeeting Could Not Start. Please Restart Your Computer and Try Again.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow one of these steps:
- Stop the Microsoft Exchange T.120 Conferencing service.
-or-
- Do not run NetMeeting on a computer on which Exchange 2000 Server with T.120 conferencing enabled is running.

This issue can occur if the Microsoft Exchange T.120 Conferencing service is running on the computer. NetMeeting requires Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) port 1503 (used for T.120 conferencing) to start. When the Microsoft Exchange T.120 Conferencing service is running, this port is unavailable, and NetMeeting cannot start. By design NetMeeting and this service require the same TCP port, and the port cannot be altered in either program because if the port is changed, the programs do not function properly in communication with other servers.
