PRJ2000: GanttChartWizard Displays High, Medium, Low for Priority Instead of 0 to 1,000 (260489)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project, when you use the GanttChartWizard and you choose to display the task Priority field, the sample bars in the GanttChartWizard dialog box display priorities of High, Medium, and Low, instead of the expected values of 0 to 1,000.

WORKAROUND

Complete the GanttChartWizard. High, Medium, and Low are only examples of the text that is shown in the finished Gantt Chart view. The contents of the Priority field, which contains a value between 0 and 1,000, are actually displayed next to the bars in the formatted view.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
