PhD2: PhotoDraw Quits Unexpectedly When You Open a File (260377)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open a file in Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000, the program may quit unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if both of the following conditions are true:
  • You try to open a .mix file in Preview mode.

  • You use the TAB key to change the focus to the Open button on the Open dialog box.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods:
  • Do not use the TAB key to change the focus to the Open button.

  • Open the file in Visual Open mode, instead of in Preview mode.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000, version 2.0.
