In order to display the users homed on an Exchange 2000 server, you have to use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, and follow the steps below:
  1. Right-click the Users container, and then click Find.
  2. In the Find field, select Find Exchange Recipients.
  3. On the Storage tab, you can filter for "mailboxes on this server" or "mailboxes in this mailbox store".
If you want to customize the columns displayed:
  1. In AD Users and Computers, right-click the Users container, and then click Find.
  2. Click Find Now to run the query without any restrictions. This will enable the Choose Columns option under View. You can then add Exchange Home Server or any other columns available.
If you want to use a filter:
  1. Right-click the Users container, click View, and then click Filter Options.
  2. Choose Create custom filter, and then click Customize.
  3. For Field, click User, and then click Exchange Home Server.
  4. For Condition, click Ends with.
  5. For Value, type the name of your server.
The Exchange home server is a distinguished name and actually ends with the server name.
