  1. Start Windows Media Player, and then insert a music CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Click the CD Audio tab, and then verify that the track information for your CD-ROM is correct. If this information is not correct, alter your track list appropriately.   3. Click to select the check boxes next to the songs you want to record from the CD-ROM, and click to clear the check boxes next to the songs you do not want to record.
  4. Click Copy Music. Note that a status bar displays a percentage number that indicates how the copy process is progressing. Your music is stored in the c:\My Documents\My Music\ArtistName\song title folder.
IMPORTANT: Because most music that is available commercially is copyrighted, you should not make copies of music from music CD-ROMs you do not own, as this may be a copyright infringement.
