If a storage group name has more than 35 characters long, the name is truncated or incorrect in the NTBackup user interface (UI). Either double-byte characters or other storage group names will appear incorrectly in place of the storage
group name. You can still back up database files for these storage groups, although the incorrect names may be confusing.
NOTE: The default storage group name exceeds 35 characters in certain languages.
