CAUSE
This behavior can occur if there are large amounts of data that are stored in the Briefcase folder.
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, limit the amount of data that you place in the Briefcase folder. If you must store a large amount of information in the Briefcase folder, create multiple Briefcase folders and divide the information between the individual folders.
MORE INFORMATION
There are no set limits to the amount of data, folders, or files that can be stored in the Briefcase folder before Windows performance is affected. Windows performance depends on the disk space, random access memory (RAM), processor speed, and bus speed of the computer that you are using.
