SYMPTOMS

When you enable the expiration date in POP3 or IMAP for e-mail messages, the process browses all the subfolders in every mailbox and deletes any EML files that have a date older than than the expiration date. However, this process also deletes entries in the address book subfolder. Any address book entries that have a Modified date older than the message expiration date are deleted. Address book entries should not expire.
