WD2000: Invalid Page Fault When You Check Spelling of Text Formatted as Swedish (258193)

When you try to check the spelling of text that is formatted in the Swedish language, you may receive the following error message: In Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me):
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.
When you click Details (on Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition, press ALT+D), you receive the following message: WINWORD caused an invalid page fault in MSGRSW32.DLL at 0137:10012e33.
NOTE: The actual memory address may vary.
In Microsoft Windows NT 4.0:
An application error has occurred and an application error log is being
generated.

Exception: access violation ((oxc0000005), address:0x10023dbf)
In Microsoft Windows 2000:
WINWORD has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being created.
To view the error log in Microsoft Windows 2000, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to Search, and then click For Files or Folders.
- In the Search for files or folders named box, type Drwtsn32.log.
- Click Search Now.
- Right-click the file, and then click Open.
By default, the Drwtsn32.log file is located in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\DrWatson
CAUSE
This problem occurs when there is a line of text in your Word document that contains only a plus-sign (+) followed by six digits (numerals,) and the following are installed on your computer:
- The Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 update
-and- - The Microsoft Office 2000 MultiLanguage Pack
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, format the specific text with "No Proofing". To do this, follow these steps:
- Select the text.
- On the Tools menu, click Language and then click Set Language.
- Select the Do not check spelling or grammar check box, and then click OK.
If you have an existing document that contains such text and causes the error message listed in the "Symptoms" section of this article, make sure to turn the background grammar checker off before you open the document, in order to format the problematic lines with "No Proofing". To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
- Clear the Check grammar as you type check box, and then click OK.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, do one the following:
- If you are using the Swedish version of Microsoft Office 2000, obtain the Swedish version of Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a) from the following Microsoft Web site:

- If you are using the English version of Microsoft Office 2000 and the MultiLanguage Pack, obtain the latest service release of the MultiLanguage Pack from the following Microsoft Web site:
