This article was previously published under Q257889

SUMMARY

If you have the required permissions to another user's calendar, you can view the calendar contents with Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access (OWA). To do so, type the following information in your browser

http://virtual_server_name/exchange/username/calendar

where:

virtual_server_name is the name of the Exchange 2000 server (default) or another virtual server that is created by your Exchange administrator, and username is the alias of the calendar owner.

When the logon prompt appears, type your user name, password, and domain. These credentials are used to verify that you have permission to the person's calendar and to authenticate your request.

MORE INFORMATION

You can also open other specific folders for another user (assuming that you have the correct permissions) by following the same syntax. For example:

Inbox
http://virtual_server_name/exchange/username/inbox

Sent Items
http://virtual_server_name/exchange/username/sent items

Contacts
http://virtual_server_name/exchange/username/contacts
