SYMPTOMS
When you dial a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based server, you may receive one of the following error messages.
In Windows 98 and Windows Millennium Edition (Me):
Error 645: Dial-Up Networking could not complete the connection to the server.
Check your configuration and try the connection again.
In Windows NT:
Error 629: The data link was terminated by the remote machine.
The following error message is recorded in the Windows NT Event log:
EventID: 20097
Source: Router
A user was unable to connect on port COM2. No more connections can be made to this remote computer because the computer has exceeded its client license limit.
