A Visual Basic project crashes with an Invalid Page Fault (IPF) when you try to call the PrintForm method in a form containing a UserControl. This
behavior occurs when trying to print to a postscript printer from Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft Windows 98. The error message is similar to the
following:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shutdown.
Clicking on Details may reveal text similar to the following:
VB6 caused a general protection fault in module PSCRIPT.DRV at 0004:00000020.
This problem does not occur on non-postscript printers.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This bug was corrected in the latest service pack for Visual Studio 6.0.
