  1. Increase diagnostic logging for whichever area of the information store you are troubleshooting:
    1. Start Exchange System Manager.
    2. Expand the following objects:
      • Administrative Groups
      • Your Administrative Group
      • Servers
      • Your Server
    3. Right-click your server, and then click Properties. Click the Diagnostics Logging tab, and then click MSExchangeIS. Under MSExchangeIS are several subcategories for which you can increase diagnostic logging.
    4. Click the specific area for which you want to increase diagnostic logging, and then choose the appropriate level of diagnostic logging.
