TPU: Team Productivity Update Does Not Work After You Cancel Uninstallation (257611)

SYMPTOMS

You can remove Team Productivity Update (TPU) from a computer running BackOffice 4.5 Server using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel. When you run Setup to uninstall TPU, the Cancel button is active and you can cancel the uninstallation at any time. However, after you start the uninstallation process, TPU is no longer functional, even if you cancel the uninstallation.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall TPU.

After the Team Workspaces, TPU program files, and so on are removed, TPU no longer functions properly. Before you reinstall TPU, perform another uninstallation to remove any remaining components. After you have completely removed TPU, rerun TPU Setup.
