High-Contrast Scheme Not Retained After Restarting Computer (257552)

SYMPTOMS

After you use the Accessibility Wizard to configure the desktop with one of the High Contrast White color schemes, the scheme is not retained when you reboot your computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, select another high-contrast scheme:
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Accessibility Options.
  3. Click the Display tab.
  4. Click to select the High Contrast check box, and then click Settings.
  5. Click Black on white.
  6. Click OK, and then click OK.
