RESOLUTION

If you want to use Word as your e-mail editor, you must use either plain text format or Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) format, or the following workaround:
  1. Quit Outlook.
  2. Start Microsoft Word.
  3. In Word, customize the toolbars.
  4. Start Outlook.
  5. To create a new message in Rich Text Format click File, and then click New.
