WD2000: Error Message: "Word Cannot Start the Grammar Checker" on Windows 2000 (257241)

If you try to run a grammar check using a language other than English, the following error message may appear:
Word cannot start the grammar checker.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you are running Word 2000 on Windows 2000 with Terminal Services in a locked down environment.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).

To temporarily work around this problem, do the following. As the administrator, find or create the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Novell\Grammatik\6.1\Microsoft
Make sure the Microsoft key and all of the sub nodes are NOT locked down. Users should have Allow permissions for at least the following:
Query Value
Set Value
Create Subkey
Enumerate Subkeys
Notify
Delete
