SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print or preview a Web page that contains an opacity filter, the opaque area may not be printed or displayed properly.

If the Print background colors and images option is enabled in Internet Explorer, the opaque area may be printed or displayed as a solid background.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
