With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. SUMMARY

This article describes how to configure your Internet e-mail account service to queue e-mail messages in your Outbox so that you can send them later. This article assumes that the Internet e-mail service is the only mail delivery service in your Outlook (CW) profile.

Outlook can hold your e-mail messages in the Outbox until you click the Send/Receive button. To do this, set the Internet e-mail account connection type to Manual:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Services.
  2. In the The following information services are set up in this profile list, click to select thre Internet E-mail check box, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Connection tab.
  4. Click I establish my Internet connection manually, click OK, and then click OK.
You must restart Outlook for the changes to take affect.
