  • Microsoft Project 2000

This article was previously published under Q256743

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Project Central, when you modify a filtered project view, the Value field for one or more filter criteria may be blank.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur in Microsoft Project Central when you modify a project view that contains a filter that filters on any of the following task fields:
  • Constraint Type
  • Fixed Cost Accrual
  • Type
NOTE: The filter works correctly after you first edit the view to add the filter criteria; however, if you subsequently modify the view, the Value column for the fields listed above becomes blank.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, retype the missing values in the filter Value column if you modify the view.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
