SUMMARY

To display ads from Ad Server, Ad Server must be installed on the server where you want to display those ads. An IIS computer that does not have Ad Server installed cannot pull ads from a remote computer that is running Ad Server.

Ad Server ads are retrieved by calling the Ad Server Com object that is placed on the server during the Ad Server installation. Because Ad Server is a component of Site Server 3.0, Site Server 3.0 must be installed before you install Ad Server.
