SYMPTOMS

When you place your pointer over a remote network share, the tooltip that is displayed incorrectly reports the size of the share. Any share that is larger than 2 gigabytes (GB) is reported to be 2,147,450,880 bytes.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, right-click the network share, and then click Properties to view the actual size of the share.
