XWEB: Message in Inbox View in Exchange Web Client Does Not Remain Highlighted When You Close It After Replying or Forwarding (256524)

SYMPTOMS

When you click a message from the Inbox view in an Exchange 2000 Web Client, click Reply, Reply All, or Forward, and then close the message without making changes, the highlighted message in the Inbox view may no longer be highlighted. However, when you save or send the message, the message in the Inbox view remains highlighted. This occurs when the Exchange 2000 Web Client is running on Internet Explorer 5.0 on a Windows 2000-based computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000.
