SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Outlook Web Access, if you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 and you create a meeting request by adding the attendees from the Availability tab, the toolbar does not update to indicate that the appointment is a meeting request. For example, the Send button to send the meeting request will be missing.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, select the attendees by clicking the Invite Attendees button on the Appointment toolbar instead of selecting them from the Availability tab.
