You can include multiple custom components with the same name in Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) 5.5. You may see multiple components with the same name to be added as components in stage 3 ("Installation Options") when you are building an IEAK 5.5 package.

You can add multiple custom components that have the same name in stage 2 ("Add Custom Components") in the Internet Explorer Customization Wizard.
Stage 3 ("Installation Options") lists the custom components in the Components to install section automatically and installs them accordingly.
This does not affect the core functionality of the installation of the custom components; if the same component (with the same name) is specified a second time, the component is simply installed twice.
