PRB: NSREX Causes an Invalid Page Fault with Some Video Capture Cards (255945)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Windows Media Encoder to capture video, you may receive an error message that states that NSREX has caused an invalid page fault.

CAUSE

You may have an unsupported video capture card. This error message usually occurs when you use MJPEG or Motion JPEG capture cards. These types of capture cards are not supported by the Windows Media Encoder.
