This article was previously published under Q254505 SYMPTOMS In a Visio 5.0 drawing, when you select a metafile that was
created in a Visio 5.0 program, and then point to Grouping on the Shape menu, and click Ungroup to ungroup it, you may receive one of the following error
messages: An error (1) occurred during the action
Ungroup. Unexpected end of file. Visio internal error: #2124 Action 1052:
Ungroup. First try closing and reopening the file, next try restarting Visio.
RESOLUTION To correct this problem, install Service Release C for your
version of Visio 5.0.
