SYMPTOMS

During a Visio Enterprise installation, you see a screen notifying you that Setup has found Kaspia Blueprint and prompting you to either copy [Kaspia] Blueprint data to Visio Enterprise or cancel Setup. No matter which option you choose, you cannot continue the Visio Enterprise installation.

CAUSE

If the Visio Enterprise Setup program detects Kaspia Blueprint information in the registry, it displays the Blueprint Found screen. It can detect the information if Blueprint is still installed on your computer or if you removed it by deleting its program folder from Windows Explorer.

As the message in the screen states, Visio Enterprise includes the latest version of Blueprint and cannot run if it detects your previous version of Blueprint on the same computer. How you proceed depends on whether or not Blueprint is still installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

If Blueprint is currently installed on your computer:
  1. On the message that appears, choose the option to copy Blueprint data to Visio Enterprise, and then click Next.
  2. When Setup is finished copying the information, uninstall Blueprint by clicking Start, pointing to Kaspia Blueprint, and then clicking Uninstall.

If the Kaspia shortcuts are not included on the Start menu, click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type Kaspia_uninstall.
If you removed Blueprint by deleting its program directory:
  1. In the message that appears, choose the option to cancel Setup, and then click Next.
  2. Run the Blueprint uninstall program by clicking Start, pointing to Kaspia Blueprint, and then clicking Uninstall.

If the Kaspia shortcuts are not included on the Start menu, click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type Kaspia_uninstall.
After you uninstall Blueprint properly, you can run the Visio Enterprise Setup without getting the screen described in the "Symptoms" section.
