When you upgrade a computer running Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 with IP Routing Information Protocol (RIP) service, to Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, the IP RIP service does not automatically upgrade to Routing and Remote Access service.
RESOLUTION
Use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Routing and Remote Access snap-in to configure the Routing Information Protocol (RIP) service.
