After an Oxford OX16PC1954 multiple-port adapter is detected and installed and the computer is rebooted, you may receive a page fault in Vcd.vxd.
CAUSE
A problem in the HeapReallocate function in the Vmm.vxd drive causes it not to zero-initialize memory in certain circumstances.
RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes.
