When you attempt to modify the security associated with the communications (COM) port by using the SetFileSecurity function, the function fails with the error code 1350 or "ERROR_NO_SECURITY_ON_OBJECT".
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
