Links LS 2000: Pro Tips Are Not Played (254024)

SYMPTOMS

When you click the Pro Tip in the Hole Preview window on a Microsoft Links 2000 10-Course Library Pack course that you are playing in Microsoft Links LS 2000 or Microsoft Links LS Classic, you experience the following symptoms:
  • You are unable to hear the Pro Tip audio clip.
  • You are prompted to insert the Links LS Disc 2 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, even if the disc is already in the CD-ROM drive.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Pro Tips are unavailable in the Links Classic and Links LS 2000 10-Course Library Pack courses.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, click Cancel to dismiss the dialog box that prompts you to insert the Links LS Disc 2 CD-ROM.

To prevent this issue from occurring, do not click Pro Tip in the Hole Preview window.
