SUMMARY

The Active Directory Connector (ADC) uses update sequence number (USN) values and time stamps associated with its source containers to replicate only changes. After the initial replication has taken place, replication should not take a long time unless either of the following conditions are true:
  • It has to perform a large number of new creations. -or-

  • A Connection Agreement has been modified, and during the modification a dialog box is displayed that states:

In order to apply the changes to previously replicated objects, a full replication is necessary. Do you wish to do a full replication of the entire directory the next time this Connection Agreement is run?
