RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may

problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk.
To resolve this behavior, stop the MTA service, and then follow these steps:
- Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
- Locate the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\
MSExchangeMTA\Parameters
NOTE: The above registry key is one path; it has been
wrapped for readability. - Double-click the RAS LAN-MTA DMOD threads value, and
increase the data value from 2 to 4.
- Double-click the Concurrent Connections to RAS LAN-MTAs
value, and increase the data value to 10.
