PPT2000: Special Attributes of Title Frames in PowerPoint (253202)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
This article was previously published under Q253202 SUMMARY
The title placeholder is a special type of text frame that can only contain one paragraph. Microsoft PowerPoint always treats a carriage return within a title placeholder as a new line, but not as a new paragraph. For example, if you change the following text frame attributes for any line in a title placeholder, PowerPoint changes the attributes for all lines in the placeholder:
- Alignment
- Line Spacing
- Bullets
Because of this, when you animate the title, you cannot treat each line in the title frame as an individual line; they are always animated as one paragraph.
Although you can set a single-level indentation setting for the title placeholder, you cannot set multiple indentation settings, as you can for normal text frames and placeholders. A title placeholder can only have one level of indentation.
This is the normal behavior defined for the title placeholder.
