Phone Book Administrator Not Installed with Connection Manager Administration Kit in Windows 2000 (253148)

After you install the Connection Manager Administration Kit (CMAK) component using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, the Phone Book Administrator (PBA) that is used to create phone book files (.pbk) for use with the CMAK is not installed.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because the Phone Book Administrator is not installed as a part of the Windows 2000 Connection Manager Administration Kit component, and must be manually installed as a separate program.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install PBA version 1.2 (6.0.702.0) as a separate program by running the Pbainst.exe program in the Valueadd\Msft\Mgmt\Pba folder on the original Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
