FIX: Error Message: This function Is Only valid in Windows NT Mode (252945)

SYMPTOMS

When running an application developed using WinInet APIs on a Microsoft Cluster Server running Windows NT 4, you may get the following error message:
This function is only valid in Windows NT mode

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to either Internet Explorer 4.01 Service Pack 2 or Internet Explorer 5.01.

STATUS

Internet Explorer 4.0 was not designed to be compatible with Microsoft Cluster Server, but this problem has been resolved in later versions of Internet Explorer.
