If you use the Extend Time option to extend an Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server conference, the resource does not update its Free/Busy information on the server.

When the Free/Busy data is not updated, it is possible to exceed the maximum number of connections for a Conference Technology Provider (CTP). For example, if you have one Exchange 2000 conference resource, Room1(20), that uses the maximum number of connections for both the video and data CTPs, when Room1(20) is invited to a conference that runs from 10:30 to 11:00, and you extend the conference to 11:15 from within the conference by using the Extend Time option, you can still invite Room1(20) to a different conference that is running from 11:00 to 11:30. This behavior occurs because the Free/Busy data has not been updated.
