XCCC: Unable to Use Negative or Zero for Certain Conference Server Values (251903)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server
This article was previously published under Q251903 SYMPTOMS
In Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server, if you use negative, or below-minimum values in the Maximum number of scheduled connections value for data conferencing, or in the Maximum number of conference participants value for video conferencing, you receive a dialog box that prompts you for a valid entry.
CAUSE
Exchange 2000 Conference Server does not allow negative, or below-minimum values for the Maximum number of scheduled connections value for data conferencing, or for the Maximum number of conference participants value for video conferencing.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, use a value that falls within the allowable range. For the Data Conferencing Provider, the allowable range for the maximum number of scheduled connections is from 1 to 999999. For the Video Conferencing Provider, the allowable range for the maximum number of conference participants is from 1 to 9999.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conference Server.
