XADM: Active Directory Connection Manager Shortcut Is Missing After ADC Installation (251471)

SYMPTOMS

After you install the Active Directory Connector (ADC), the Active Directory Connection Manager shortcut is missing from the Administrative Tools section of the Start menu.

CAUSE

Microsoft Windows 2000 has not updated the Start menu.

RESOLUTION

To force Windows 2000 to update the Start menu, log off of Windows 2000 and log back on. The Active Directory Connection Manager shortcut will appear on the Start menu.
